Could the Jonas Brothers soon become the Jonas Brother? A source close to the Jonas camp has revealed to us that Nick Jonas is set to leave the group to embark on a solo career in March 2010. According to the source, the Jonas Brothers are also planning to switch from current label, Hollywood Records, to Jive-Zomba and plan to take a 5-year break. The source tells us Nick has already recorded 42 solo tracks and is currently whittling them down to 14.

UPDATE: We just received an EXCLUSIVE official statement from Mr. Jonas, himself. He says, “Boys are not spliting up. All good with JB. They are touring all summer, then Camp Rock 2, then touring more till the end of the year. They are not leaving Hollywood Records. As always, lots of music to come.”
