Me and Ashley are doing a project in English, and we had to pick a hero and do a research project on it... one of the main points is "How Has This Person Affected Others?" and i thought i would ask all the JB fans on this fansite...
so.. just post a reply saying how Nick has affected your life...maybe because of his diabetes and wanting to help other kids with the disease..??
idKK!! i dont care what you answer, just know that your response could be used in our project! (we wont use names..just because)
nickk has affected me by encouraging me to do my bestt even if something is going wrong, nick lives with that his whole life, and he's inspired me to do the same. what im trying to say is that nick is an inspiration, whenever im feeling down and do poorly on something, i think about nick and how his diabetes doesnt stop him from doing what he loves, and that encourages me to be like that and dont let ANYTHING stop me.
idkk if thats good for your project, but i didnt know how to word it. :DD
welll....whenever you think that like..you have such a big problem...like..your parents ground right before a big party or something...and then you think of nick and its like "wow....some people have way bigger problems than i do, and they've learned to deal.." it just kind of..puts your life in perspective i guess.
i think he has affected me no never give up because he has diabeetees and that didnt slow him down any.you know he is blessed to have that diesese because its just another challenge for him to overcome.
Hey my name is Ashley, in dec of 2005 I went into a mri to see why I was swelling, then in January around my bday I was diagnose with Arthritis. I thought to myself not kidding before the song came I thought to myself in a little while I will be fine, well six months later I was invited to a camp for kids with my disease and realized I need to get the word out and I am not alone with this disease. 300,000 kids in the world have Arthirtis, I have to go for IVs every seven weeks for meds I go to a place called Infusion Center where I see kids that have different and worse diseases than I do, I walk in every day knowing I am so Lucky to be able to get my meds when other kids 9 out of 10 cant. This year I found out a girl my age now 16 did not get treatment soon enough and went blind. Just think your about to drive then you cant because you went blind. I cried for days for her. When I frist heard Nick's song it made me cry and realize thats my story. I need your guys help to ask them to come entertain the kids that sit there with me for 6 hrs to 12 hrs watching TV thats it, so if anyone has connections please tell me I love it. Or even them come out to play golf for a charity for Arthirtis, I have played for 10 years and I love it, its one thing I can do along with dance my heart out lol.
Well thats my story
Ashley
I have had Arthirtis for 3 years and it has never stop me
hes so inspiring...i made like 500 flyers about the change for the children foundation asking for donations and everything its pretty cool i havent gotten very much money yet but i will...i wanted to somehow give the final check to him in person i wanted to let him know that he's a hero...i dont have diabetes but my grandma was diagnosed around the same time he was and one of my best friends was too. i want to do everything i can to help him and every kid out there that suffers from diabetes
Nick has affected me in many ways........ To start, me and my little brother looked up to him when he made that diabeties speech. My little brother said it helped him think positively about it..... Now he's okay with it..... Nick is an inspiration...... to me and my little brother and my neighbor (whose name just happens to be Nick) who happen to be battling against diabeties and cancer. It helps alot....... :) GO NICK!!!!!
